A New Painting Today

"Poppies, Santa Margarita" 8" x 10", Oils.
This is an oil painting done with a painting knife, no brushes were used! It's a very fun, textural way to paint. The paint is very thick, takes weeks to dry! This painting finally dried and is now framed, ready to go into a show tomorrow morning. The poppies were blooming in the Spring, outside a small town in the Central Coast area of California, where I live. Enjoy!
